Sand Filter with Recycled Glass Beads

• Cheaper initial cost than DE or Cartridge Filters
• Filtration Efficiency: With addition of Glass Beads, can effectively filter out particles down to 5 microns, similar to traditional DE Filters, 5 Microns  
• Longevity: Recycled glass beads are durable and can last longer than traditional sand.
• Easy Maintenance: Requires less frequent  backwashing compared to sand fi

Diatomaceous Earth Filter (D.E. Filter)

• Higher Initial Cost as compared to sand filter
• Filtration Efficiency: Highly effective at filtering out very fine particles, down to 2-5 microns. 
• Will continue to have to by DE powder for the life of the filter.
• More maintenance than Sand or Cartridge filter

Cartridge Filter

• Higher initial cost than sand or D.E. Filters
• Filtration Efficiency: Can filter particles down to 10-15 microns, depending on cartridge quality. 
• Ease of Maintenance: Simple to clean by hosing off or occasionally soaking in a cleaning solution. 
• Replacement Cost: Cartridges need periodic replacement, adding to long-term costs. 
• Frequent Cleaning: Depending on pool usage and debris load
